Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros have a very special quality to them, their music is both refreshingly new but also very nostalgic. First off any song that starts with whistling automatically captures my attention and I’m immediately fully immersed in the music. Secondly this song is very reminiscent of Johnny and June Carter Cash’s duet days…

If you go through the link, there is a full description on Ariel’s blog. I wanted to reblog this post since I figured out what song was towards the end of the Cyrus (2010) trailer, thanks to Ariel. I’ll post the trailer now, great song btw…I should listen to them more in 2011. Also, I thought Ariel’s description of the song was spot on, honest, and not pretentious. Good stuff all around.
